Three Trips to the Snowy Plateau: Protecting Young Hearts with a Glimmer of Hope | Jiaxuan Group Joins Hands with Lizi Border Inspection to Protect New Life on the Plateau

On the occasion of International Children's Day, Jiaxuan Group once again partnered with the Lizi Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station to launch its third annual border education charity event in Lizi, Shigatse, Tibet. This initiative aims to spread social warmth and support the healthy growth of youth in border regions. By delivering essential supplies to local elementary schools and kindergartens, the group and the border police took practical action to provide special holiday care for children on the snowy plateau.

The Lizi border is located in a high-altitude region characterized by a frigid climate and harsh natural conditions, where the education and daily lives of local youth require continuous attention and support. On the eve of this year's Children's Day, upholding its long-term commitment to public welfare, Jiaxuan Group set out from Shanghai to Lhasa. From there, the team drove 1,100 kilometers across plateaus and wilderness to reach the Lizi border port at an altitude of 4,722 meters. Despite the challenges of extreme cold, oxygen deficiency, and treacherous roads, the group remained dedicated to the cause. Based on thorough preliminary research and a precise assessment of school needs, the group collaborated with the Lizi Border Inspection Station to finalize a support plan. They delivered supplies worth a total of 125,000 RMB, including winter clothing and complete sets of stationery. These items were carefully selected to meet the specific needs of students in the plateau climate, ensuring that the aid effectively reached and benefited the children.

Rejecting Symbolic Donations, Committing to Long-term Companionship

Since its first border education initiative, Jiaxuan Group has adhered to a philosophy of practical, needs-based support, remaining rooted in the plateau for three consecutive years and rejecting purely symbolic donations. Prior to this event, the group's team proactively coordinated with frontline border police. Recognizing the long winters and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night on the plateau, they moved away from standardized supply lists. After multiple rounds of communication, they created customized 'warmth packages' that not only protect children from the cold but also support their daily studies, ensuring that the charity work is impactful and truly reaches those in need.

Overcoming Hardships Across Mountains and Seas, a Relay of Love

Due to extreme road conditions and scheduling constraints on the plateau, the group dispatched a dedicated charity team to complete the handover of supplies and conduct site visits. The supported areas have an average altitude of nearly 5,000 meters, and many of the beneficiaries are relocated migrants living in extremely difficult conditions. The round trip from Lhasa exceeds 2,000 kilometers, consisting mostly of rugged mountain roads where snow-blocked passes and icy surfaces are common. Delays due to road closures, tire blowouts, and sudden emergencies are frequent occurrences. To minimize expenses and maximize resources for the children, the charity team often traveled day and night, braving the elements to complete the journey in two days and one night. On the treacherous plateau roads, they acted as a relay to pass on the group's original charitable intent, ensuring that warmth from across the country reached the border children on time.

Police and Enterprise Working Together to Protect Youth Growth

Traveling thousands of miles to deliver warmth, the team welcomed Children's Day with a focus on the children. The donation ceremony was simple yet solemn, as police officers and group representatives personally handed out supplies to the children. The new winter clothes and complete stationery sets brought genuine smiles to the children's faces, with their words of thanks conveying pure warmth. Local teachers and students expressed their gratitude to both the police and the enterprise for their three years of steadfast support by presenting Hada (traditional ceremonial scarves) and honorary banners.

While the guardians of the national gateway stand firm on the front lines to ensure national peace, the enterprise fulfills its social responsibility to safeguard the growth of the younger generation. Jiaxuan Group and the Lizi Border Inspection Station work side-by-side—one strengthening the national defense line and the other nurturing the hearts of border children—combining their strengths to contribute to education on the plateau.

Fulfilling Responsibility with Unwavering Commitment to Charity

This initiative reflects the long-term development philosophy of the group. Jiaxuan Group has always integrated public welfare as a core component of its corporate responsibility. Without seeking hype or high-profile publicity, the group continues to support border education through low-key and pragmatic actions, bridging vast distances to provide a warm foundation for the growth of plateau students.

A single action conveys passion, while three years of persistence demonstrate true responsibility. Moving forward, Jiaxuan Group will continue to deepen the collaboration between the police and the local community, developing border education support into a regular, long-term public welfare project. The group remains committed to practicing corporate social responsibility through practical actions, accompanying the youth of the snowy plateau as they grow toward a bright future.
