To deepen the development of the key experimental zone for "Comprehensive Ideological and Political Education" and advance the pairing assistance and cooperation action plan between the Jiading District Government of Shanghai and Ninghua County, Sanming City, Fujian. During the summer vacation, Jiaxuan Group fully assisted the Jiading District Education Bureau in collaborating with the Jiading Representative Office of the Shanghai Charity Foundation to organize a 5-day red-themed study tour to Sanming City, Fujian, for academically excellent students from underprivileged families in Jiading District. This initiative actively builds an extracurricular education exchange platform between the Jiading and Ninghua regions and creates a distinctive brand for ideological and political education in these areas.
Learning the Spirit of the Long March
At the Ninghua County Red Army Long March Memorial Hall, students visited themed exhibition halls such as "Ukraine of the Central Soviet Area" and "The First Step of the Long March," as well as the only special exhibition in China dedicated to military bugle calls. Led by professional docents, they listened to the legendary red story of the museum's treasure, the national first-class cultural relic "Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Military Bugle Call Score," which embodies the spirit of "as long as the person is here, the bugle call will remain." Through this, they gained a deeper understanding of the significant contributions and immense sacrifices made by the Ninghua Soviet Area for the Chinese revolution and grasped the spirit of arduous struggle and selfless dedication of the Soviet Area.
Understanding the Revolutionary Process
At the Mingxi County Revolutionary Memorial Hall, students saw 52 precious cultural relics. Combined with relevant historical materials, they diligently learned about seven chapters of revolutionary history, including "Mao Zedong's Two Visits to Mingxi," "Establishment and Development of Early Party Organizations," and "Becoming a Central Soviet Area County." The magnificent historical panorama of the Mingxi Revolution allowed the students to feel the great revolutionary passion of the people of Mingxi.
Visiting the Former Residence of a Great Leader
At Mao Zedong's former residence in Linshe Town, Qingliu County, students recited "Like a Dream – New Year's Day" and held a memorial ceremony at the Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs. Afterward, everyone visited the exhibition at Mao Zedong's former residence, reliving red memories, gaining a deeper understanding of the red epic of that era, learning about Comrade Mao Zedong's arduous exploration of the revolutionary path during the Agrarian Revolution, and the outstanding achievements of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army in the Chinese revolution, and appreciating the spirit of the revolutionary pioneers: "With many sacrifices, we are more determined; we dare to change the sun and moon for a new sky."
Experiencing Hakka Culture
At Shibi, Ninghua, students visited the Hakka Ancestral Land, listened to stories of famous Hakka figures, and experienced the Hakka spirit. They also participated in a Hakka ancestral worship ceremony and experienced the intangible cultural heritage of Ninghua movable type printing, as well as making Hakka folk delicacies such as 'Da Ciba' and fried oil cakes.
"Down the mountain, down the mountain, the red flag unfurls like a painting." In Sanming, Fujian, this red land, revolutionary pioneers such as Mao Zedong and Zhu De, and countless revolutionary heroes left their footprints. During this trip to Sanming, members of the study tour group revisited the Long March by visiting red sites such as the Long March Spirit Revolutionary Base, experiencing the arduousness of the revolutionary path and the unwavering will of the revolutionary pioneers. They observed old sites and artifacts, feeling the spirit of the Red Long March.
